To make things a little easier for you, I’ve divided the hacks into two parts: simple and advanced (with this, I mean go for the radical). As always, try the quick trick first. Quick Tips:

• A short but effective hack is to place the camera lens on top of your iPhone when snapping images or shooting videos. For example, when you want to capture images in portrait orientation, position your iPhone to the right. And when shooting pics in landscape orientation, place the camera lens on the top left corner.

IPhone SE / 6s or earlier: Press the Home and Power buttons for about 10 seconds.


On iPhone 7/7 Plus: Press and hold the volume button and the power button simultaneously.


On iPhone 8/8 Plus and iPhone X or later: Press the button and increase the volume. Press and release and volume down button. After that, press and hold the side button, it will restart.

Update Software On Your iPhone

Settings app to navigate ⟶ General ⟶ Software update. Now, tap on download and install. Then, go through the normal process.

Reset All Solutions
